Glenna R. Bray Elmore, 77, of Independence passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Woodcrest Manor Care Center Elsmere, KY. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, American Legion Women's Auxiliary, and a KY Colonel. Survivors include her children, Ezra (Mary Lou) Elmore, John Elmore, James Elmore, Jacqueline Elmore; step-son, David Chapman; brothers, Carroll Bray, Clifford Bray; grandchildren, John (Wendy) Elmore, Stanley (Ryan) Elmore, Cristina (David) Lancaster, Katharine Elmore, Miranda (Chad) Getz, William (Christina) Elmore, Thomas Elmore and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm Thursday, June 28th, 2012 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence with services to follow.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
