Obituary of George Anglemyer

George Thomas Anglemyer, 64, of Walton, formerly of Ohio, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles Albert Anglemyer. Survivors include his best friend, soul mate, and loving wife of 31 years Cheri Anglemyer (nee Wessel); mother Nancy(Hal) Cory of Winter Haven, FL; sister Jan(Rick) Riedemann of Winter Haven, FL; in-laws Mark Wessel, Jo Brennan, Nancy Grimes, and Teri Dickman; out-laws Sally Wessel, Denny Brennan, Mike Grimes and Scott Dickman; nieces and nephews Charli, Matt, Heather, Holly, Annie, Jeff, Nick, Erin, Jon, Christian, Courtney, Maura, Bryan, Kyle, Ted, Rylan, Sarah, Mitchell, Noah, and Naomi; and many other relatives and dear friends.
In High School George was a gymnast, specializing in the side horse. He received the Ohio State Championship Award and won many other tournaments. He was a mechanical engineer and worked for the Ohio River Co. and later was an independent contractor in Process Safety. George also attended Grace Fellowship Church of Union and was active in the Small Groups; was an alumnus and fan of University of Cincinnati; was passionate about golf and was a member of Hedges men's golf league and the mixed couples Sunday Afternoon Golf League of Kenton County and he was a member of the Five Seasons Tennis Club of Kenton Co. He also enjoyed playing bridge in the Snow-Bridge Club, enjoyed both water and snow skiing and was a former member of the Cincinnati Ski Club.
Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at Grace Fellowship Church in Florence, KY 41042 from 2:30 PM until funeral service at 4:30 PM. A "Celebration of Life" will follow from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM also at the church. Burial will be at Richwood Presbyterian Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Grace Fellowship Church, 9379 Gunpowder Rd., Florence, KY 41042 in George's name.
