Mary Lou deGroot (nee Riegler) age 87, of Cincinnati, OH formerly of Morning View, KY passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Hyde Park Health Center. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl F. and Lillian (nee Heidt) Riegler. Survivors include daughter Deborah A. deGroot-Osswald of Cincinnati, OH; son-in-law GaryA.Osswald of Cincinnati, OH, brother Harry P. Riegler of Verona, KY; grandson Garrett A. Osswald of Cincinnati, OH; nieces Dana and Dione Riegler of Verona, KY and nephews Carl and Rodney Riegler of Verona, KY.
Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until time of funeral service at 12:30 PM, Monday, October 17, 2011 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Entombment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens of Taylor Mill, KY.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
