Obituary of Bettie Wayman

Bettie Lou Nix Wayman, 83, of Independence passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at her son's home. She was a cafeteria worker for the Kenton County Board of Education, a member of the Eastern Star Bradford Lodge #493, and a member of Independence Christian Church where she was active in many of the activities she loved through their Ladies Crafters and Quilters Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Elbert Wayman, granddaughter Kyra Eha, and brother Charles Nix. Survivors include son Ken (Nancy) Wayman of DeMossville; daughters Deborah (Al) Howarth of Walton, Regina (Lewis) Moses of Covington, and Rebecca Barrow of Williamstown; sister Ruth Mullen of Erlanger; grandchildren Kevin and Bryan Luster, Tammy Naegele, Rachael Wayman, Jeremy and Nathan Moses, and Sara Everhart; great-grandchildren Britney, Misty, and Amber Naegele, Jeremy Hubbard, Jacob, Samuel, and Benjamin Eha, and Madilyn Peecher; and great-great grandson Carson Schomaker.
Visitation will be Monday, July 30, 2012 from 5-8 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence with Eastern Star Service. Funeral service will be 10 AM, Tuesday, July 31, 2012 also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens of Taylor Mill.
