Obituary of Ada Deaton

Ada Francis Durbin Deaton, age 82, of Covington, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Liberty of Riverside Care Facility in Cincinnati, OH. She was a homemaker, who loved others and showed it by caring and serving her family and neighbors. Mrs. Deaton was creative, always full of energy, and enjoyed writing poetry. Her daughter, Karen Hope Deaton and son, Ricky Gerald Deaton preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Edward Earl Deaton; sons, Jeffrey Stephan (Edna) Deaton and Daryl L. (Diana) Deaton; daughters, Lisa Mae Deaton and Dedra Jeanne (Tim) Lutes; (15) grandchildren; (19) great grandchildren; and (7) great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Chambers & Grubbs in Independence. Funeral services will begin Friday, at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Center, Sanders-Brown Center on Aging, 101 Sanders-Brown Center Building, 800 S. Limestone Street, Lexington KY 40536-0230.
