Obituary of William Smith

William E. Smith, 75, of Florence, died Thursday. He was a retired truck driver from Kentucky Motors, a Navy veteran of the Korean War, and a member of St. Paul Parish and American Legion Post No. 4. Survivors include his wife, Jean Weist Smith; sons, Danny Smith of Erlanger, Buddy Smith and Greg Smith, both of Florence, and Terry Smith of Burlington; daughters, Donna Herzog of Independence, Darlene Smith of Cincinnati, Debbie Reinzan and Tracy Smith, both of Florence, Peggy Schoon of Tucson, Ariz., and Jenny Williams of Goshen, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Cecelia Church, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in St. Cecelia Church Cemetery, Independence.
