Linda D. Halberstadt Cleek, age 63, of Independence, died Sunday, August 5, 2012, at her residence. She was part owner at Court Yard Café, a member of Madison Ave. Baptist Church of Covington and enjoyed shopping. Preceded in death by son, Michael Cleek 1987. Survivors include her husband, Charlie Cleek of Independence; daughters, Debbie Schafer of Corinth, Amanda Cleek of Independence, Bobbi Schreiner of Independence; brother, Gary Halberstadt of Independence; and 4 grandsons.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Services will be Friday, August 10, 2012 at 10:00 AM also at the funeral home.
Memorial Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017, or Gideon's International P.O. Box 965, Florence, KY 41022.
