Obituary of David Schoborg

David "Stormy" Frances Schoborg, 51, died Tuesday in an automobile accident in Pendleton County. He was owner and vice president of Planum Excavating; member of Christ's Chapel Assembly of God Church in Erlanger; member of Operators Union, Local 18, District 5; former firefighter and EMT for Independence Fire Department; raised horses; loved to farm; and enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. His parents, Robert and Angie Schoborg, died previously. Survivors include his wife, Christy Armstrong Schoborg; sons, Matt and Michael Schoborg; daughter, Cassandra Schoborg; sisters, Pam Bornhorst and Terry Winterburg; brothers, Jim and Michael Schoborg; and stepfather, Al Meece. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday with funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ's Chapel Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence, is handling arrangements. Memorials: Christ's Chapel Assembly of God Church, 3819 Turfway Road, Erlanger, KY 41018.
