Mr. Faulkner was a wonderful person. He always had a smile on his face and a story to go along with it. He would come into the Food Service Department and ask, "What's to eat. He will be greatly missed, especially his hugs.
I wish your family receive God's blessings during this time of struggle. Mr. Faulkner will be missed by the entire Kenton County family. He always had kind words for me and it has been a pleasure to know him.
We are so sorry to hear about Mr. Bill! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. I worked with Mr. Bill many, many years (even though I am still young), and he always had something nice and exciting to say about his family! He told us so many funny stories! We looked forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays just to see Mr. Bill! He would bring us tomatoes or whatever he had in season he would bring and share. He was a very giving, loving person! I feel honored to have been able to work with him, but more importantly, to be his friend!!
I (Jim) first met Mr. Faulkner when he was my tenth grade Science teacher at Simon Kenton High School. He was such a person that you always remembered him after he came into you life. I really got to know him as the courier for Central Office . I worked in various schools and was always glad to see him coming. I (Meskel) always looked forward to his twice weekly visits when I was secretary at Kenton Elementary. There was always time to spend a few minutes together talking about people we both knew. I tried to have a special candy treat for him each time he came in and he looked forward to it. He will always be Mr. Faulkner to us and will be missed. He is the last of a very special generation of teachers, principals and just plain good people.
