Obituary of Dorothy Shell

Dorothy Lou "Dot" Shell, 78, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Boone County, died Friday at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington.
She was a homemaker and a member of Decoursey Baptist Church, Covington.
Survivors include her husband, James "Al" Shell; sons, James William Shell Sr. of Walton, Gerald Dennis Shell and Kenneth Lewis Shell, both of Burlington; a daughter, Pamela Byrd of Citronelle, Ala.; a sister, JoAnn Sutherland of Tallahassee, Fla.; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 3 p.m. Sunday.
