Obituary of Crit Jones

Crit Edward Jones, age 78, of London, KY, formerly of Independence, died Monday, September 4, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital in London. He was a retired Assembly worker for General Motors and a member of Northern Kentucky Baptist Church. His wife, Shirley Jones, and grandson Joshua Michael Jones preceded him in death. Survivors include his children, Deborah Pope, FL, Critt Edward Jones, Jr., Tim Jones, and Michael (wife Patricia, sons Jacob Daniel and Jeremiah Ezekiel) Jones, all of London, KY; step-children, Perry Hines of Lakeside Park, Sherry Dorman of Taylor Mill, Sandy Vickers of Alexandria, Carla (daughter Amity) Hines of Independence, and Brian Hines of Independence; brother, Fred Jones of Cincinnati, OH; sisters, Ruby Jones of Hamilton, OH, Blanche Pittman of Hobart, IN, Suzy Brock of Corbin, KY, and Mary Mills of Hamilton, OH; eleven grandchildren; and 13 step-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made Gideons International.
