Obituary of Karen Booher

Karen Lynn Booher, age 57, of Independence, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood. She was Service Merchandiser for Acosta, and enjoyed gardening, photography, & spending time with her grandkids. Survivors include her husband, Dan J. Booher; sons, Mike Scott Booher of Burlington and Jason Matthew Booher of Weston, FL; mother, Dorothy Laura Skitt of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Gail Murray of Orlando, FL; brother, Gary Skitt of Cincinnati, OH; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 12, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon. Interment will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown, KY.
Memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice.
