Obituary of Ronald Porter

Ronald McDow Porter, 80, of Union, passed peacefully on September 8, 2012, at Emeritus of Edgewod's Memory Unit in Northern KY. Beloved husband for 56 years of the late Lee Ann Hilton Porter, he was a master mechanic and owner of Erlanger Motors, Inc. for many years. In retirement, he enjoyed golf, traveling, and working in the yard. Survivors include son, Ronald R. (Pamela) Porter; granddaughter, Brenna M. (Erik) Aschermann, and three great grandchildren-Stella, Piper, and Knox, all of Union; grandson, Captain Zachary H. (Molly) Porter, of Savannah, GA. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. immediately followed by the service at 11 a.m. at Highland Cemetery Chapel in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Florence is handling the arrangements. The Porter family extends their sincere thanks to the kind and caring staff of Emeritus.
