Casper Glenn Rogers, age 74, of Independence, died Saturday, September 8, 2012, at his residence. He was a retired Assembly Line Worker for General Motors, who enjoyed fishing, collecting and shooting guns, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife (of 50 years), Jewell D. Lewis Rogers; daughter, Kim Miller of Erlanger; sons, Tim G. Rogers of Florence and Mark Douglas Rogers of Erlanger; sisters, Edna Coffey, Gerri Daniels, and Sue Hall all of Corbin, Faye Wyatt of Independence, and Ann Johnson of London, KY; brother, Richard Rogers of Corbin; grandchildren, Jamie, Devin, Scotty, Ryan, and Tara; and great grandson, Jackie Ray.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Carter's Chapel Cemetery in Gardnersville, KY.
