Obituary of Gerry Sallee

Gerry Dean Sallee, age 56 of Florence, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence. Gerry was a disabled laborer of Rockwell International. He was a former Walton Fire Protection District Volunteer and a member of Florence Baptist Church. He was a very loving father and husband who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Mary Sallee; his aunt, Aline Sirmons; and his dog, Gizmo. Gerry is survived by his wife, Becky Duncan Sallee; daughters, Deanna Lauderman (Bill) of Independence and Sara Beth Sallee of Florence; son, Aaron Cody Sallee of Florence; sister, Becky Sallee Petty of Verona; brother, Terry Sallee (Brenda) of Walton; grandchildren, William Lauderman II, Sara Lynn Lauderman, Kameron Reid and Kolton Lauderman. Visitation will be Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 11AM until time of the funeral service at 1PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Walton. Gerry will be laid to rest at Independence Cemetery.
