Michael Anthony Kirby, age 48 of Union, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012. He was owner of Big Chief Concrete Co. Mike was an outdoorsman, an excellent waterskier, concrete worker, animal whisperer and was very competitive with his passion "Motorcross". He is survived by his loving wife, Candy Vaughan Kirby, son, Nathan Kirby of Crittenden, parents, David Kirby of Burlington and Jackie Petrey of Florence, sisters, Kathy Doll of Hebron, Sherry Eagler and Crystal Smithson both of Florence, brothers, David Kirby of Burlington and Jason Jones of Union along with 2 grandchildren.
Memorial donations are requested to the Michael Kirby Benefit, C/O any Huntington Bank branch. The funeral expense benefit will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Treasure Lake, Lawrenceburg Ferry Rd., Petersburg, Ky. located off Rt. #20.
Services will be held Monday, October 8, 2012 at Chambers & Grubbs Florence. Visitation will be from 11 am.-1 pm. with a funeral services immediately following. Burial will be at Belleview Bottoms Cemetery.
