My sincerest condolences to the entire Whitmire family. I enjoyed working with Don and found him to be an extremely likable person. I think we will all miss him greatly.
Too many of our military veterans are passing away each day. We know there must be a special place in heaven for them. We thank God for his service to our country . Know that our prayers and thoughts are with his surviving family.
My heart goes out to Don's entire family. I knew Don as a respected co-worker and we all respected Don for his service to our beloved country. May he rest in peace and may God give strength and comfort to those he leaves behind.
Dear Whitmire families: Please know that thoughts and prayers are all around you to lift up Don. It has been a lifetime ago, and Don was behind John, Sue, Gayle and myself, but I have a lot of memories to cherish forever. John, Sue and Gayle: let's get in contact. Shannon
Don was a very thoughtful and kind person. He shared his love of his country with us when he was in charge of a beautiful flag ceremony that honored our soldiers. All of us were greatly touched by this ceremony.
