Obituary of Joseph Rogers

Joseph Noel 69, of Enon, OH passed away January 5th, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ft. Thomas, KY after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born May 21st, 1943 in Dallas, TX. Joseph was an electrical engineer employed at Peerless Technologies Corporation where he supported the Mobility Directorate at Wright Patterson Air force Base. Prior to this, he retired after working for thirty-one years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base as a government civilian. Joseph was also an Air Force veteran, an amateur Ham radio operator, and a member of The Association of Old Crows. He enjoyed politics, gardening, golf, opera, and fine cuisine. He is preceded in death by his parents J. Frank and Mary Mildred. He is survived by his loving wife Gail Rogers of Enon, OH; son Timothy (Joy) Rogers of San Diego, CA; daughter Tami (Eric) Bletzinger of Springboro, OH; son Todd (Jill) Rogers of Middletown, OH; sister Betty (Don) Rickards of Florence, KY; brother Tom (Marcia) Rogers of Union Grove, AL; and seven grandchildren whom he adored; Andrew, Adam, Hannah, Marcus, Nathan, Ethan, and another expected later this year. Visitations will be held on Wednesday, January 9th, 2013 from 10am-12pm at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence, KY with the service immediately following. He will be laid to rest at Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery in Florence, KY.
