Obituary of Paul Ramsdell

Paul David Ramsdell, 51, of Independence, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014. He worked at Fidelity Investments for 26 years as the VP of operations. Paul enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, playing cards, and especially spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Dorothy Ramsdell. Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Sandra; his son Dylan of Independence; brothers Glen (Caroline) Ramsdell of FL and Brad (Linda) Ramsdell of MA; sister Alane (Darrin) Brown of NH; brother-in-law Kevin (Sharon) of MA; sister-in-law Susan (Thomas) of MA; father and mother-in-law Robert and Jennie MacKenzie of MA; nieces and nephews Joshua, Haley, Elizabeth, Eric, Derek, Taylor, Brendan, Leslie, Alanna, Amanda, Alexandra, Jamie, Kate, and Bethany. A visitation for Paul will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 3:30PM until 7:30PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. There will be a brief eulogy of Paul's life beginning at 7:30PM. Additional services for Paul will be held at a later date in Beverly, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association National Center 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
