Three weeks ago I lost the best father and friend anyone could ever ask for. I'm heartbroken and lost. I know he is in a better place because he was tired but I sure do miss my 5:45 wake up calls. I love you so much Dad

He wasn't just an uncle to me. He was a mentor, my godfather and my best friend. I didn't have much of any friends when I was a kid but you were always there for me. If I was down, you'd pick me up. You taught me a lot throughout my life and I will never forget it. I will never forget all those endless weekends and summer days staying with you. No matter what, you would always put a smile on my face. As I got older, went away to college, I didn't stay with you as much as I could have but I always made it a point to see you. If I wasn't home, I called you. I will miss you always buddy and I love you.
Your nephew Andy

He used to scare the crap out of me with that cut off finger. I would runaway screaming from him. Then finally when i got a little older i got use to that darn finger. When he knew i wasn't affraid of it anymore then he would act like he was picking his nose with it. I use to love all our family get togethers that we use to have especially at their house because there was alot of room to get away from the adults. I will miss you Uncle Don

I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing. He was my children's bus driver for many years. Even though they are now in their 20's, they still talk of him fondly. My son still remembers when he backed the bus up down a long section of Rector Rd back to our house because he had forgotten his homework so he wouldn't get in trouble with his teacher. He was always looking out for the kids, and you could tell he really cared about them. He was definitely one of a kind that will be remembered with much admiration.
