Dear Dunaway Family: Very sorry to hear of "Doodle's" passing. We worked together at RA Jones for 20 years. He was a good man, very smart way beyond his education level, a tremendously hard worker, and a straight shooter in all matters. I wish I had known he was ill so I could have paid him a surprise visit and to have thanked him for all he had contributed at Jones and to my life. Doodle was one of those people who made you a better person just because of your association with him, and because of the strength of his positive character. Rest assured that he loved his family, and of course his farms. He always made both loves well known to all around him. God Bless you as you go forward without his physical presence around for support. Paul & Belinda Grimes

Tony, I just wanted to send my deepest sympathy to you and your family was saddened to learn of your fathers death. I guess I was also in denial until I came to the funeral home webpage. Even though I was warned it was all too soon for me. Words cannot express how I feel right now. I wish I had just one more chance to tell Julian thank-you for the dinners and the time spent at the cancer treatment center. He was always so thoughtful of me and my mother. He was so sweet to my mom hen her hair started falling out and she was devastated and Julian said its ok. "It will grow back purdier than ever" and then we hung on to that catch phrase and started using it ourself. He was also so kind to stay and extra day when he knew he wouldn't be coming back to make sure Mom and I had a ride to CTCA and to haul our luggage. Even though I didn't get a chance to know him for years I will never forget him. Julian will be greatly missed by us. Tony I share in your grief and send my love to you. Remember you were his source of strength when the times got tough and for that you should walk proud. If there is anything I can do give me a call
