I met Gayle after he moved to Brighton Gardens. Although he was 90 years old, he was a kind and gracious man, who was determined to get back to work! And he did it! Gayle never gave up his desire to improve his physical ability, and get to walking again. Not only was he a great guy, he was a good friend. Steve the Therapist

McElroy family-- The entire Rouse family was saddened to hear of Gayle's passing and hold you all in our hearts at this difficult time. My parents, Asa and Libby, have been out of the country on a trip otherwise there's no way they would have missed paying tribute to Gayle on Sunday. Please accept our sincere condolences.

Gayle will always have a place in my heart. I met Gayle when I started working at Coldwell Banker and he has been my friend since. Gayle was a kind and caring man that was also full of life. He lived everyday to the fullest. No matter what he was doing Gayle always had time to stop and chat and always had a kind word. He always seemed excited to see his visitors…with a big smile and a “Golly Moses!!” I will miss our lunches at The Grey Hound and the great stories of his life he shared with me. I just wish I had met him sooner. You will be missed by many Gayle, and thanks for sharing some of your life with me! Andrea Brinthaupt

TO THE FAMILY OF GAYLE..I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT GAYLE. I WORKED AT THE PHYS. OFFICE YEARS AGO SO I HAD THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING HIM AND HIS WIFE HELEN AND THEN MY DAD WAS AT BRIGHTON GARDENS AND I SAW GAYLE THERE ALSO.
