So very sorry for the loss of your Casey. There are no words that can be said to truly ease the pain of losing a loved one. Death is called man's greatest enemy thus causing much pain and sorrow. Please be assured that the God of love promises that he will wipe all tears from our eyes and eliminate death and sufferings forever. (Revelation 21:3-5)

There are no words to express the depth of disbelief, shock and sadness that is running through me. My heart is breaking for you his family, all friends and for my son, who has lost his best friend. I remember the day he came home, so excited that he met a new friend on the bus who loved history just as much as he did. Casey has been a part of our family ever since. His friendship to both of my sons and my-self will never be forgotten but forever missed. I loved Casey as one of my own. We will hold our memories close and keep Casey and his family forever in our hearts. My deepest sympathy to his family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

While I don't know Casey or the family I am very saddened and sorry for your loss. I am a resisdent nearby Manchester,Tn and attended the same festival this past weekend. After checking out Casey's Fackbook page it is easy to see he was a very bright and loved young man. Keeping your family in my prayers. God bless Ken Wilson Bradyville,Tn

There are no words to adequately express feelings at this time. Casey was an incredible young man - one I was proud to know was so close to my son and his wife. We were fortunate enough to benefit from their friendship for 10 years - and those are 10 years we will cherish for our lifetimes. I love the influence Casey had on my son, challenging him to always be his best, without forgetting to have fun and enjoy the moment. We were fortunate to spend a lot of time with Casey and the Simon Kenton Academic Team traveling to state and national competitions. It was always fun when "the posse" would come to our house and have a fire in the yard. I'm grateful for all of that because as a result, I gained an extra son. I loved Casey and I'll miss his beautiful smile and infectious laugh. He was always kind and compassionate to everyone around him. I learned something new in every conversation I was fortunate enough to have. The world lost an incredible mind and a light to so many positive things. My heart goes out to all of his family at this time. You will remain in our thoughts and prayers.

I taught Casey in 8th grade at Twenhofel along with Jordan W. and Luke W. They were brilliant young men, and they made me understand why I went into teaching. Casey was so bright and positive to be around. Being a teacher for 31 years is like being a parent to thousands of kids. I feel such a loss and emptiness. The world lost a star in Casey. He was on his way to making a mark. I have no explanation of the "whys" of this happening, but my faith tells me that there is comfort to be found. Please accept my most sincere condolences on your loss, and know that my heart cries along with you and your family. As I have said year after year when I was teaching, "Once a Mr. Pierce student; always a Mr. Pierce student." Casey was and is still my student. Love from my heart, Mr. Rodney Pierce
