On behalf of all of the members of the Senior Men's Tennis Group at Five Seasons Sports Country Club, please accept our heart-felt and sincere condolences. Charlie was a long-time member of the group which I joined almost two years ago and currently play with, affectionately referred to as "The Old Farts" group. During one tennis session, Charlie approached me and asked if I could help him out with the task of duplicating an audio CD which had some family heritage information recorded on it. I offered to do so, and some time later when Charlie came to my home with the CD, we set up my laptop PC and generated a copy of the CD for Charlie to make use of as a personal backup. Charlie expressed his appreciation and offered to pay me for helping out, but I told him that I was only too glad to be of assistance with completing this task on his behalf. Charlie was one of the most gracious individuals I have met since my wife (Elisabeth) and I moved to Kentucky in mid-November 2006. In closing, I would like to think that Charlie will be suiting up to play tennis on a court somewhere in heaven. God bless everyone who had the privilege of knowing Charlie and may his soul rest in eternal peace.
