BUTLER - Jerry Rhodes Prather, 67, formerly of Butler, KY, died Saturday, Feb. 28 at his residence in Lakeland, FL. Survivors include son, Jerry "J.P." Prather, Jr.; brother, Harold "Woody" Prather; stepdaughter, Margie Ducksworth; stepdaughter, Robin Wheeler; stepdaughter, Tine Harris; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 with services immediately following at the Hopewell Funeral Chapel, 6005 State Route 39 South, Plant City, FL.
Local graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 7 at the Independence Cemetery in Independence where the body will be buried.
