Stephanie was an amazing woman, an amazing friend and she can never be replaced. It was obvious that she loved New Haven and she loved her children and grandchildren, as well as her flowers and going to Montana. Stephanie and I had a tradition. We called it Purple Mondays and we would both wear purple. It just made both of us smile. So, New Haven is going to continue having Purple Mondays as a tribute to Stephanie's generous, kind and fun spirit. She will be sorely missed. Her family is in my prayers. Mari Beasley

Stephanie was New Haven's angel on earth. Her sense of humor, laughter, and jokes she would play will be missed. She was always ready to drop what she was doing do help with any computer problem no matter how big or how stupid. There is nobody else on this earth who could help me with my multitude of computer problems and make me feel like I was NOT an idiot and that possibly it could be the computer, or, that maybe someone else might possibly have that problem. I guess God won't be having anymore technological problems because now our angel is in heaven with Him. Lucky Him! And lucky us for having had her in our life. You all are in my prayers.

Stephanie was such a good friend at New Haven. The work she did was invaluable. She was the "Guru of the Computer". She also had such a wonderful sense of humor... always a laugh and and a smile. She will be greatly missed.

To the Guard family, Stephanie will be greatly missed at New Haven. She always had a smile and kind word for everyone. She helped the students and staff daily and treated us all with love and respect. We will sorely miss her positive attitude, sense of humor, gardening tips, sewing skills, and love of life. New Haven has always been more than just a school. It's also a family. Stephanie was an important member of that family and one reason why New Haven was so special. Stephanie was the most wonderful woman, talented seamstress, computer whisperer and a staple at NHES we could always count on to be there and fix us. She was joyful, comforting, and a blessing to our whole school. There's no telling how many lives she touched while she was on this earth, our lives are all richer for having known her. I am selfishly wishing God would have given her back to us instead of taking her home with Him. Stephanie took my daughter's crib set and sewed the dust ruffle around the quilt. I wasn't ready for my little girl to have a new big girl bed set and Steph was gracious enough to take her baby set and make it a big girl set. I'm thankful to have a memory of her in my home and with my daughter. I'm praying for your family.

Dear Guard Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Words cannot express the shock of this untimely news. We have always thought so highly of Stephanie at New Haven. Tom and Family - Stephanie was an amazing lady that will be missed so very much by so many. Stephanie worked closely with my Mom at New Haven for years. To the family, The New Haven family will miss Steph so much, she meant the world to us. There was never a day that she did not have a smile for everyone. She was always there to lend a hand and never fuss at us for being so technologically challenged, she just smiled and did our work ! There were many, many assignments that Michael had that we could never have completed without her. She was a treasure to us as a staff and a dear and treasured friend. Please know that we will miss her so much and that we will continue to pray for you all as you go on living without her.
