WALTON - Stephanie Ann Scudder Guard, age 55, died Saturday, December 19, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence. She was a computer specialist for Boone County Schools at New Haven Elementary and enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Guard of Walton; (2) daughters, Melissa Lynn Church and Veronica Lea Dent of Walton; son, Christopher Alan Russell of Walton; step-son, Gregory Guard of Walton; (2) sisters, Dorothy Schlaubach of Richmond, IN and Patricia Thomin of Hamilton, OH; brother, Brian Scudder of Harrison, OH; and (6) grandchildren.
A gathering of friends will be held Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs in Walton. The memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to New Haven Elementary School at 10854 U.S. Hwy 42, Union, KY 41091.
