Ronald Lee Elmore, 62 of Walton, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. A self-employed carpenter, he was a member of Walton Christian Church, Boone Lake Club, Inc., 5th District Federation League of Ky. Sportsman, Former Chairman of Area 7 Special Olympics Fishing Tournament, and a Ky. Colonel. Survived by wife, Wilma "Midge" Elmore, daughters Tonya Elmore, Mt. Orab, Oh., Suzie Stickrod, Williamstown, Ky, Nicole Davis, Independence, Ky., sons Joshua T. Elmore, New Castle, In. and Jake Elmore, Walton, Ky., brothers Robert Elmore, Lexington, Tn., Gary Elmore, Florence, Ky., Eddie Elmore, Lexington, Tn., Parents Eugene and Margaret Elmore, Union, Ky. and 3 grandchildren.
Services will be held at Chambers & Grubbs Walton. A gathering of friends will take place Friday, July 16 from 6-8 pm with the Funeral ceremony to take place at 8 pm.
