Dear Grandma, First of all, I just want to say how much I love you. I will always treasure the memories of coming over to your house to play in the living room, and how you always had my favorite type of cookie: oatmeal with icing. Everytime I eat that cookie I will think of you. It seems like I never got to see you enough. I always planned on coming down to see you more, but it never really worked out. It's something I will regret because it means lost time with you. It was hard to think of you in the hospital because I always thought of you as always being there in your house, waiting for the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who all loved to visit you. To not have you there anymore feels unreal. You've always been a part of my life, even when you were far away. I feel so sad that I didn't get to see you on your birthday, so here's a Happy Birthday from me. I hope you can hear it up in Heaven. I love you so much Grandma, and I hope you know that. I miss you so much and can't wait to see you again. All the Love in the Whole World, Charlette
