Obituary of Jean Daniels

Alice Jean Cook Daniels, age 84, of Fiskburg, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. She was a retired Data Entry Lead Operator for Square D Company, a member of Wilmington Baptist Church, and an alumnus of the Simon Kenton Class of 1945. Ms. Daniels was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Daniels in 2006; daughter, Janice C. Schneider in 2002; and grandson, Timothy M. Daniels in 2009. Survivors include her sons, Jim (Donna Kay)Daniels of Walton and Mike (Donna Jean) Daniels of Piner; son-in-law, Bill Schneider of Fiskburg; sisters, Ruby Daniels of Gardnersville and June Stahl of Fiskburg; nine grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, July 15, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs in Independence. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gardnersville Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
