Obituary of Janice Childress

Janice Carol McGuffey Childress, 69, of Crescent Springs died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital of Edgewood. She was an executive secretary for Kroger and a member of Ft. Mitchell Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was active in the WMU, the Peggy Compton Society, and many other ministries within the church. She also enjoyed traveling and collecting dolls.
Survivors include her husband Bill Childress; sons Jeff Zacharias of Chicago, IL, Doug Zacharias of Ft. Thomas, KY, Stephen Childress of Newport, KY, Allan Childress of Cincinnati, OH, and Adrian Childress of Alabama; and 8 Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 10 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12 Noon at Ft. Mitchell Baptist Church, 2323 Dixie Hwy. Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army or the American Red Cross.
