I met Jim three short years ago, when Julie and I moved in (next door) to him and Shirley. Jim was the best neighbor that we ever had. He was more than kind, generous and helpful. My kinds words cannot do him justice ... he will be sorely missed.

So sorry for your loss. I remember Jim as one of the folks that welcomed us and made us feel at home when we first came to the KY Auctioneer's Association Convention. He was always there to show us the way with the fun auction, and he and Randy always guided us through it.
What a proud moment it was when he received the lifetime achievement award. I'm so glad he got it, and it was well deserved.
Oh, I know he loved to come to the river in Russell County. I just wish I had taken time to see him when he was down here.
You all take care. God bless.

Our deepest sympathies to the Kannady family. We always looked forward to seeing Jim at the auctioneer's convention. He was very active in the organization and was a huge supporter. We will miss him as a member and more importantly as a good friend.
