Before Grovers mother Mattie was a Holbrook she was my maternal Great Greatmother and my Grandmother Elmus Patton Back was Grovers 1/2 sibling. Even recently my Uncle Tom Back commented how Grover was always his favorite and they stayed in communication. Grover sent me a video of where I grew up during the summer and spent there. Teasing Grover I told him Everett was my favorite. Missed by all yet now resting with family.
I will always look back with a smile thinking of all the years I spent with Grover in the nursery digging and selling trees. We were good friends and I always enjoyed listening to his stories. RIP Grover my friend.
Thoughts and prayers for the Holcomb and Bracke families.
I met Grover and Faye thru Lisa when I moved back here to Ohio in 1989.
Grover was a kind and wonderful man. He gave my daughter Nicole and I our first Ohio Christmas tree from his tree farm when we moved here.
I was honored to be part of both Faye and Grover’s surprise 50th anniversary party and Grover’s surprise 80th party.
RIP Grover......I know you’re at peace now and together again with Faye.
