Obituary of Fred Hayden Terry

Fred Hayden Terry, age 82, of Covington, KY passed away Friday, September 27, 2019.  He was a retired Electronics Technician for American Sound and Electronics in Covington, KY for over 50 years. Fred was passionate about sports and was a member of the Covington Turners Society, where he served as President of the Youth Club.  He was instrumental in contributing to youth sports development around Northern Kentucky and investing in the lives of young athletes by coaching baseball and basketball leagues and running tournaments for many years.  Fred enjoyed golf and was an avid softball player and manager.  His greatest joy though was his family and he especially enjoyed following the athletic accomplishments of his children and grandchildren over the years.  He met his beloved, departed wife, Norma Jean Raper, in kindergarten and they began dating at the age of 16.  After dating for five years, they were married for over 54 years until her death.  He is also survived by his daughter, Jeanine Terry Schilling (Robert); son, Fred Robert Terry (Amber); grandchildren, Caitlyn Schilling Litteral (Shawn), Anna Claire Schilling Smith (Dexter), Mitchell Schilling, Caroline Schilling, Nicholas Palmer Terry (Jane), and Meredith Terry; and great grandchildren, Adalyn Jane Litteral and Isaac Allan Litteral.  Visitation will be Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Lakeside Christian Church, 19 Buttermilk Pike, Lakeside Park, KY 41017, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Ft.
