I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Rennekamp's passing. I enjoyed having two of his children in class and meeting Mrs. Rennekamp at parent conferences. I know what a sweet family all of you are, and my heart is with you during this very sad time.

Mr. Rennekamp was truly a special man ! He worked at my school and i remember seeing/talking to him almost every day. He was such a kind man and always would check in on me to make sure i was doing ok and ask how my day was going. I would always try to make him laugh and he thought me and my best friend (Chelsea VanAuken) were hilarious.
There are a few people in your lifetime that touch you and leave an everlasting memory and he is one of those people to me. There have been times in the past i have wondered how he is doing but did not know how to get ahold of him. I wish i would have tried to reach out sooner. I'm sure you are having a blast up there in heaven - watch over us all !
Love you!

Carolyn,
I’m so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I hope you find comfort in all the good memories you and your family have. My memories of Jim are of the times when our families were together.
Oh yes, to let you know, my 20year old+ dryer is still working thanks to Jim’s service calls.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Love, Sue

I worked with Jim at St. Cecilia and remember him well. We would talk a lot during school time. He was always ready to help out with things. I seem to remember him digging a hole for someone's funeral and he fell in and had to be helped out. He worked hard and I always saw him mowing the grass when I would go by. He will sure be missed. Prayers for Carolyn and the family

I will always remember Jim from my 12 years at St. C; his cigar, his grumbles, and his trip to Gettysburg with me, George Listerman, and the 8th grade class. Thanks Jim for always keeping my space clean in spite of the area rugs and journal crates you had to mop around! I am happy to have shared part of the journey with you. Prayers for you and your family.

Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Such a great guy. I knew him since I was a kid from him being a janitor, PE teacher at St Cecilia to our basketball coach. The only guy I knew that chewed on his cigars and never smoked them. Did I mention he had an awesome hook shot? Thoughts and prayers to Carolyn, Julie and the rest of the family. Rest In Peace Jim. You will be missed.

Mr. Rennekamp was my janitor in grade school, I am 27 now. He was the sweetest man. I will never forget him. He made hard days at school so much better by making us all laugh in the hallway and always being kind. He will be missed by many <3

Jim was a sweet man who I came to know when I taught at St. Cecilia. I always look for his truck when I drive past his house and think of his soft spoken Carolyn. He loved his family. So sorry for your loss. He will be missed.
