James Joseph Rennekamp, age 78, of Walton, KY, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ft. Thomas, KY.  Jim was a former technician repairman at Sears, a former custodian at St. Cecilia Catholic Church and a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church in Union, KY.  Over the years, he coached multiple baseball and basketball teams for St. Cecilia and the Taylor Mill Boosters, as well as umpired leagues across Northern Kentucky.  Jim loved the outdoors (especially fishing) and he enjoyed tinkering on things (including household appliances).   His son, Jeff Rennekamp, preceded him in death in 2009.  His survivors include his loving wife (of 55 years) Carolyn Fortner Rennekamp; children, Jim Rennekamp (Karen), Julie Milligan, and Joe Rennekamp (Lori); daughter-in-law, Amy Rennekamp; brothers, Rick Rennekamp (Sharon) and Ed Rennekamp; grandchildren, Tara Rennekamp, Danielle Rennekamp, Tyler Rennekamp, Alysha Milligan, Alex Milligan, Drew Milligan, Joshua Rennekamp, Jessica Rennekamp, Kaylee Rennekamp, and Luke Rennekamp; and great grandchildren, Teigan Pitcher and Talon Pitcher.
