Obituary of Donna Susan Pierson

    Donna Susan Pierson, age 62, of Independence, KY passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020 at her home. She was born the daughter of the late Leroy and Mildred (Borden) Frost on April 7, 1958 in Cincinnati.

    Donna worked as a stewardess for Comair and attended the Calvary Baptist Church. Donna was an excellent and tireless caregiver to her husband for many years. In her younger years, she in enjoyed being a cheerleader in high school. More recently, Donna liked to spend time in her flowers garden and traveling. She cherished a recent trip to Egypt.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Thomas Pierson and her brother, Richie Frost.

     She is survived by her loving children, Crystal Suzanna (Jonah) Worstell, Gregory Wayne Pierson, and Steven Thomas Pierson Jr; seven grandchildren, Riley Worstell, Gavin Worstell, Gage Worstell, Cora Worstell, Amber Pierson, Taylor Pierson, and Dylan Pierson; and siblings, Tony Frost, Carla Clevenger, Kelly Skiles, and Randy Frost.

     Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Church, 3711 Tibbatts St, Covington, KY 41015 from 5:30PM until time of service at 6:30PM. Burial will be held privately at the family’s convenience at Landmark Memorial Gardens.

     Due to the current Covid-19 state restrictions, face coverings are required unless seated, temperatures will be taken before entrance into the church and attendance will be limited to the church’s recommendations while still maintaining 6 feet of social distancing.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Donna’s name to National Breast Cancer Foundation, PO Box 678572, Dallas, TX 75267-8572.
