I heard of Kelly’s passing while listening to the on-line service at First Baptist, Ludlow this week. Hearing his name brought me back to the days he and my step-dad (Harvey Sturgeon) used to carpool together to OK Trucking back in the 70’s-80’s. I would not have done more than say a prayer, but then I heard “the rest of the story” today.
My husband’s mother is a resident at St. Charles. She’s been shut inside the Autumn Cottage for almost a year now. She struggles with getting around on her own and occasionally falls. On one of these occasions her fellow resident, who we only knew as the man who stood in his doorway, saw her fall. He left his post at the door and came to check on her and get help. Today she told us his name was Kelly. Thanks for sharing your guardian angel with us! Prayers for your peace in the days ahead.
