My sincerest condolences to the entire family. I am friends with Dennis' daughter, Rachel. I met Dennis only a handful of times but he left his mark. I was struck by his effortless kindness, especially with children. My daughter was overjoyed to play with his grandson, Macklin, in his sandbox, built especially for him by Dennis with a day's notice because he knew the kids would enjoy playing in it. And boy did they love it! My daughter had to be bribed away from the sandbox when it was time to leave. He also took the kids (and parents) for rides around the property as many times as the kids wanted - and that's a lot! Dennis even attended my daughter's birthday party with Rachel so he could lend a hand with the kids. He was a remarkably nice man. We need more men like Dennis in this world.
