I met Eric back in the 90s, where we both worked at the Florence Files office of the IRS. When I learned he sang in a local Band, a couple of other employees and I went to see him in a few different venues. To say I was impressed by his talent, is an understatement. Eric was not only talented, he was also very intelligent, articulate, interesting, and an all around nice guy. During Eric's time as a Union Stewart and Vice President, he represented me very well, with a few issues I encountered at work. Though I didn't see Eric as often, after he left work, in order to pursue his music career, I was glad to be able to connect with him on Facebook. Last Summer I had planned to meet up with him in Covington at an open mic session. However, due to covid19, he was still laying low. I am sorry I was unaware that Eric was ill. My heart breaks for Eric's family, close friends, music world, and all of us who knew and loved this talented man. He will be immensely missed by all.
