Obituary of Tom Weghorn

Tom Weghorn of Florence, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at his home. He was born in Cleveland, OH on October 13, 1934. Tom worked for many years at Three Rivers Sheet Metal as a draftsman. When he wasn’t working, Tom enjoyed doing crosswords and going for a drive. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan. His number one goal in life was to be the great husband and father he was. He will be forever cherished for how dedicated he was to supporting his family.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, June Weghorn and his daughters, Vicky Weghorn Perry and Beverly Rae Weghorn.

Survivors include his sons, Marty Weghorn and Ryan (Katrina) Weghorn; grandchildren, Jared, Brandon, Eric, and Ryan, Jr.; numerous great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Patti Weghorn; and other friends and relatives who will cherish his memory.

A gathering of friends will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway Florence, KY 41042. The memorial service will begin at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made in Tom’s name to the American Cancer Society at https://donate3.cancer.org/.
