Obituary of Daniel Williams

Daniel Williams, 29, of Independence, KY, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, May 22, 2023. The son of Robert Williams and Debra {Price} Williams, Daniel was born in Edgewood, KY, on June 4, 1993. He graduated from Simon Kenton High School in 2011 as well as the American School of Barbering in 2021. Daniel had a passion for barbering, and he used his great talent to help his community with haircuts at Hair on the Floor Barber Shop in Covington, KY.

A proud father to his baby girl, Navy June Williams, he cherished the time spent with her as she was his whole world. One would characterize Daniel as a kind, caring, and generous man with an incredibly large heart; he extended his hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, staying active and fit, and being involved with Seven Hills Church in Florence.

Those that are left to carry on Daniel’s legacy is his daughter, Navy June Williams; parents Bob Williams and Debbie Williams; sister Kate Williams; mother of Navy, Megan Peel; paternal grandparents Bob and June Williams; uncles Mark and Tim Price; and aunt Libby McMullen.

Daniel was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Kathy and Tom Price.

A visitation will be held between 5 PM and 7 PM with his funeral service beginning at 7 PM on Friday, May 26^th at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. Daniel will be laid to rest at Independence Cemetery on Saturday, May 27^th at 11 AM.
