The day Mary took Harrison's senior pictures, Deron and I let them work and we just sat in the background and talked. Anyone who ever missed out on a day talking to Deron, lost an amazing oppertunity. He shared stories about his time in the Coast Guard and many stories of life afloat on Lake Superior. We also talked about Kentucky's early history and his passion for
re-enacting the Revolutionary War time period. He was a true friend to my family and like a fun uncle to my grandsons, Harrison and Wyatt. He included them in his fun times and taught them a lot about making lasting friendships. Deron will be both missed and remembered by the Roberts clan.
