My husband & I were in a Card Club with a group from our small community, my husband is gone now, but you can only imagine how much of our lives we have shared with this group ! Katy’s parents were a part of this group,. We have attended each other’s christens weddings & the birth of many grandchildren ! Our hearts are just broken to see Katy’s parents go through this sadness! Our hearts go out to Dr. Dan & his children also! I know through their strong faith they will hold on tight to all the precious memories & life as if Katy is watching over them!

Remembering back to the little girl who slept in that pint sized bed that eventually got moved to the upstairs alcove. When our girls were little and would come to Ohio to visit they would clamor for that cute little bed since we normally stayed at Katy’s house since her dad and my mom were brother and sister and the house was always ”kid friendly and fun”! Thinking back on that baby who wore the hip brace and how interesting it was to carry her around….had never seen anything like that before or since. Precious memories of that sweet cousin who was 11 years younger. We pray God will comfort and sustain you as only He can. Much love.
