The first time I met Art he was sitting on the porch at my brother in law's house when I arrived. Art was good friends with Bob and Annie (my sister). I remembered him being very friendly and telling me how he was in the service with Bob. I even was lucky enough to score some of his candy at Christmas time. Art was like family to us. He even came to our mom's 90th birthday party in 2020. He was in our group picture. I'm glad he was able to join us that day. We lost Bob in Jan of 2020 to the same vicious disease. Art took that hard. I'm hope they are enjoying a glass of tea together and catching up in Heaven.
