Kara is one of the most beautiful people I have been blessed to share life with. She deeply cared about everyone and their cares, no matter how big or small. Through different sufferings in her life, Jesus taught her how to suffer well, and she shared that wisdom with so many others. Instead of seeing tragedy or pain in someone’s life and backing away, like most of us do, she ran toward it, leaned into it, and put both her shoulders under that burden until life was OK again. She had a way to take what someone saw as a small blessing in their life and point out just how great of a miracle from God it truly was. Such a beautiful personality and a kickin’ sense of humor. She is truly one of my best buddies. She made everyone better by just knowing her.

My favorite memory with Kara, along with sister Kris was growing up and attending GAs. We had so much fun at church camp. I remember the giggles in the cabin. Please enjoy the picture from 91’ & 92’. Kara is such an incredible legacy. I know her legacy will live on through her precious children and family. My love is with you all and so grateful for the hope in Christ.
