Obituary of Rufus Williams

Rufus Williams, age 62, passed away, Sunday, January 5, 2025, at NYU Langone Medical Center-Tisch, in New York, NY.  He was a former Associate Pastor at Cross & Crown City Church in Newport, KY, and Lighthouse Freewill Baptist Church in Elsmere, KY, a Ramp Agent for Delta Airlines, and most recently a Bus Driver for Boone County Schools.  Currently, he served the Lord as a member of Christ Chapel Church in Erlanger, KY. 

Rufus was preceded in death by his parents, Biram and Nancy Williams, and brother, Timmy Williams.  He is survived by his loving wife (of 38 years), Cheryl Maes Williams; children, Rufus Colton Williams and Erica Williams; and sibilings, Wayne Williams, Naomi Williams, Ivan Williams, Ona Louise McIntosh (Millard), Bessie Ruth Williams, Geneva Knox (Donald), and Rebecca Dennis.
