Rufus the pain of losing you is indescribable, yet I find peace that you're out of pain. Your absence is deeply felt, and the void won't go away. My brother had such a huge impact on everyone he met. He made an impact on my life. We grew up singing and playing music all the time, and if we weren't doing that we were clowning around driving our religious parents crazy, but we sure loved each other and every moment of our lives together here are a few pictures to share with friends & family.

I hadn’t seen my cousin Rufus in many years. I made a surprise visit to him. We were both happy to see each other.

Q: What will you never forget about Rufus?

A: Uncle Rufus was the funniest person I knew, but he was as loving as he was humorous. He always had a smile and could brighten anyone's day. He had jokes and pranks, but he also had a heart full of love for everyone. Whenever I think of him I can hear his voice saying, "I'm glad you got to see me!"

My car buying, and helping brother I’m going to miss you. You were one of a kind and always a help for anyone who needed it. You created memories for everyone who knew you, many humorous I’m certain but a few serious. And you always loved your family with everything in your being. I’m glad you’re no longer in pain.

Uncle Rufus you will be missed my many. Your humor and your tremendous love for family we will cherish forever.

I am so in shock that you’re gone. I’ll be forever grateful I got to speak you one last time and tell you I loved you. I’ll forever cherish these photos, they are so precious and mean even more to me now. I’m so glad for the time we all had with you, you were such a joy to be around. I love you dearly uncle.
