Obituary of Alma Knox

Alma J. Knox, age 94, formerly of Independence, died Friday June 8, 2012 at Baptist Village Care Center. She was a housewife, formerly worked in the Kenton County Clerk's office, was a member of St. Cecilia Church in Independence and was also a member of the Irish Rovers, the Primetimers, and the Kentucky Kuzzins (a square dancing club). Her husband, Robert Knox, preceded her in death in 2008. Survivors include her daughters, Bobbie Jean Folmer of Covington and Patricia Derickson of London, KY; son, David Lee Knox of Evansville, IN; brother, William Joseph Faulkner of Erlanger; grandchildren, Melissa Folmer, Leslie Rogers, and Ryan Derickson; and great grandchildren, Avery, Sean, Brooke, and Emma Rogers.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at St. Cecilia Church, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm at the church. Interment will be at St. Cecilia Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of St. Elizabeth.
