Obituary of Shirley Johnson

Shirley Fay Riggs Johnson, 76, of Union, formerly of Walton, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 at her residence. Shirley was a retired, self-employed insurance agent, owner of JB Johnson Insurance, a member of Walton Christian Church, former Chairperson of the Walton Fire District, and a member of the Professional Insurance Agents of Kentucky. She loved fishing and especially loved her dogs, Ranger and Bella. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Beulah Riggs. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tom Johnson; daughters, Jenny and Alexa Johnson both of Xenia, Ohio.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 11AM - 1PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Walton, with the service immediately following. Mrs. Johnson will be laid to rest at Walton Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to Walton Christian Church, 50 S. Main Street, Walton, Kentucky 41094.
